Abstract
This book was written as part of the research projects Chronologicon Hibernicum (Chron-Hib) and Harnessing digital technologies to transform understanding of ogham writing, from the 4th century to the 21st (OG(H)AM). These projects have received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No. 647351) and from the UKRI-AHRC and the Irish Research Council under the ‘UK-Ireland Collaboration in the Digital Humanities Research Grants Call’ (grant numbers AH/W001985/1 and IRC/W001985/1). The author expresses his gratitude to Katherine Forsyth and Nora White for advice and help.
