Abstract
The development of mobile and wearable technology has
made it possible for people to collect and retrieve large
amounts of data about their daily activities. We reviewed
selected literature from four related research areas that actively engage in the investigation and modelling of users’
search contexts. We discuss their similarities and their potential use for lifelogging. This paper represents a first step
toward the conceptualisation of search contexts from an interdisciplinary perspective.
