Abstract
This article considers the impact on the Employment Appeals Tribunal and the
Labour Court of recent developments in the distinct, but overlapping, spheres of
industrial relations and the legal regulation of employment. It suggests a reform
of the tribunal system and a bolstering of collective rights as means of better
ensuring the vindication of employment rights for workers.
